The Tithebarn Workshops are a collection of working artist studios and cafe, set in their own tranquil gardens.
A big part of the experience at the Tithebarn Workshops is the opportunity to do a bit of retail therapy. Each one of the studios has a collection of merchandise for sale which both compliment their own work and afford you the opportunity to get an individual gift for special occasions. The Unit owners carefully select their stock to ensure that visitors will get a unique shopping experience and can rest assured that they will be buying something that will stand out in a crowd. Products are constantly changing and updating, so there will always be something new to see.
The Workshops can be found near the Mediaeval Tithe Barn in the Barton Farm Country Park, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, BA15 1LF (Map of how to find us on our Contact page).

These were the cow byres or skillins - open fronted sheds - to which the cows were brought for milking. Only the north range existed in 1850, with the west part a bigger building, possibly with a hay loft over it. But by 1887 the west range, with wooden posts, and the north range, with stone pillars, were as they are now.
After farming finished in 1971, the new owners filled in the spaces between the posts or pillars and divided each range into the craft workshops.
